While this is a continued inconvenience, we hope that the finished product will be a much better skating surface and much more energy efficient. Wanted to give everyone a quick update on the progress of our ice chiller replacement. So far things with demo and cleaning have gone well, we are however a bit delayed in delivery of the custom built replacement machinery.

I hesitate to give solid dates at the moment, as the situation is still fluid. If you are looking to skate during freestyle sessions, I greatly encourage you to register for the San Jose sessions.

If you are looking to register for class lessons, we will start our session as soon as we are able, however it could be a couple more weeks until that time. If you would like to start learning to skate, or continue learning to skate without a gap, I encourage you to register for class lessons in San Jose. Due to a repair that needs to be completed on our Ice chilling machinery, Solar4America Ice in Fremont will close temporarily beginning June 1st. Our completion date is scheduled for early July.

While we know the timing isn't great, now that we are opening on a larger scale, but the repairs are needed in a timely manner. If you are currently registered in an on-ice activity, you have already been contacted with a plan for your program. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to contact me. With Alameda County moving into the Orange Tier, we are happy to announce the return of some familar programs to our Facility.

All of these programs will have limitations and require purchasing of admission online, prior to entry. Please click on the individual program pages for the most up to date information.

With Alameda County moving today into the Red Tier, we are happy to announce we will be reopening the Fremont facility on a limited basis beginning this weekend with youth hockey cohorts, and continuing Monday March 15th with our figure skating cohorts and adult hockey cohorts. Many of these programs were previously enrolled prior to our last closure, and are at capacity.

More information about new registration opportunities will be posted in the coming weeks. With the state recently removing the Stay-at-Home orders, and moving counties back into the tiered color system, we have received many inquiries regarding when we may be able to reopen. Under the current model, we are prohibited from reopening in the purple widespread tier.

As we have since the beginning of this pandemic, we continue to adhere to all county and state guidelines. We will be reopen on a limited basis when our local counties reach the red level of the Blueprint for a Safer Economy and hope that with numbers beginning to trend better, that will be very soon.

The new restrictions will be in effect until January 4, Among other suspended activities, the on-ice youth classes, camps and clinics we have been offering must temporarily cease beginning on Monday.

Programs will continue as planned through Sunday, December 6. It deeply saddens us not to be able to offer these healthy activities and childcare options for the children in our community. We sincerely hope the current initiative will help to drive down the community spread of COVID in the Bay Area, and that we will be able to pick up where we are leaving off in the new year.

Due to this, the county we are happy to announce the return of some of our favorite programs on a limitted basis. Beginning Monday October 12th, we will be bringing back the following programs. For the season, SAP Center has been upgraded with state-of-the-art LED lighting system, that will improve the look of the game in the building, as well as on television.

It will also allow for an enhanced game presentation production prior to and during Sharks games. In Aug. Plattner's passions in life are sports, business and science. Plattner has received a number of honors recognizing not only his accomplishments in the business world but his significant track record in giving back to the community. Following his retirement from day-to-day involvement in SAP, Plattner has devoted his time to the promotion of science, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as to social and cultural projects. He not only fully finances the HPI, but is also actively involved as a director, professor and lecturer in Enterprise Platforms and Integration Concepts. Our facilities host hundreds of events annually including National Championship hockey tournaments, over the top corporate events, birthday parties and events of all shapes and sizes and more!

The facility, completed in , contains one NHL-sized ice surface by feet and one Olympic sized ice surface by feet. The facility accommodates ice hockey, figure skating, broomball, curling, speed skating, ice dancing, public skating, sled hockey and special hockey.
